The aim of the Maritime Information Association (MIA) is to promote networking amongst those having an interest in maritime and naval matters, or working within that area.
Members include collectors, photographers, maritime historians, researchers, authors, editors, retired seafarers, curators, archivists, librarians and information officers. Members are from all over the world and bring with them a wealth of information and experience.

MIA CONFERENCE and AGM 2007

The MIAs annual conference will be held in Bruges , Belgium 20 th -23td September 2007. Events and visits are being arranged to ports and other places of maritime interest in both Belgium and the Netherlands , for what promises to be a fascinating event.

A coach is intended to be available for transport from Central London on the Thursday Sept 19 th , returning by the evening of Sunday 23 rd Sept.
